Travel Sales Consultant

About the role

GhumoIndiaCommunity is seeking a full‑time Travel Sales Consultant to join its team in Indore. You will turn travel inquiries into confirmed bookings, guiding travelers toward curated, responsible tourism experiences across India.

Key responsibilities

• Understand guest preferences and recommend suitable itineraries from GIC’s curated trips.
• Prepare detailed proposals, manage pricing, and customize travel packages.
• Handle reservations, travel arrangements, and coordinate with trip captains and local partners.
• Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and social channels, providing pre‑ and post‑trip support.
• Maintain accurate and timely booking details and update CRM records.
• Contribute to sales targets and provide feedback to improve itineraries and traveler experience.

Required profile

• Strong travel consulting skills with the ability to understand and meet traveler needs.
• Experience in travel management, logistics coordination, and vendor communication.
• Proficiency in customer service and reservations, handling inquiries, changes, and cancellations efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, comfortable working in a small team.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Indore, including occasional extended hours during peak seasons.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred, though strong experience can substitute.
