Travel Counselor – Corporate Business

About the role

As a Travel Counselor you will join Amex GBT’s remote team to provide exceptional travel services to corporate business clients across India. You will be responsible for planning, booking and managing both individual and group travel, ensuring compliance with company policies and delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for individuals and groups.
• Research travel options, anticipate traveler needs and promote additional services.
• Book air, road, rail, and accommodation using Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus).
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service provider rules and regulatory requirements.
• Handle special customer requests and provide professional telephone service.
• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent client service and proactive problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity when handling personal traveler information.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoon shifts (12‑8 pm) and weekends.
• Team‑oriented mindset with openness to feedback.

Required skills

• Native expertise in at least one Global Distribution System: Sabre, Apollo, Galileo or Amadeus.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
