Logistics Technician

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation team is looking for a Logistics Technician to support data‑center inventory and asset management. You will handle cycle audits, incoming and outgoing deliveries, and coordinate warranty claims for hardware equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned logistics tasks and escalate issues when needed, following guidance from senior data‑center staff.
• Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims, package, ship, and receive returned merchandise (RMA) in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Develop working knowledge of stock control and inventory‑management procedures.
• Conduct cycle audits, correct data discrepancies, and help reconcile inventory reports.
• Follow Microsoft contractual guidelines with suppliers and uphold a strong customer‑focus.

• Ability to follow detailed processes and work under the supervision of experienced colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record‑keeping.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with familiarity of supplier agreements.
