Travel Consultant

About the role

Dimaak Tours is looking for a motivated Travel Consultant to join its team of travel specialists. You will work directly with clients to design personalized international vacations, ensuring every itinerary matches their interests, budget, and preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in planning, organizing, and booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and tours.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, attractions, and activities based on client preferences and budget.
• Research visa requirements, travel restrictions, health and safety guidelines, and other travel‑related information.
• Create detailed, customized itineraries and manage the full booking process, including ticketing, hotel reservations, car rentals, and travel insurance.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other partners to ensure smooth logistics and resolve any issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, regulations, and emerging destinations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving travel‑related problems.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and payments.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to company growth.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (BA/BSc, MA/MBA in Tourism) or 1‑2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and pay close attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Tamil and any additional Indian language are a plus.

• Proficiency in travel booking software and reservation systems.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and adaptability to changing travel requirements.
