Travel Consultant – Customer‑Focused Booking Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Travel Consultant to join our team. In this role you will help clients plan and book a full range of travel services, from flights and hotels to tours and transportation, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, itineraries, travel insurance, visa requirements, and currency.
• Book domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, and tours.
• Stay up‑to‑date on travel trends, regulations, and emerging destinations.
• Prepare and deliver travel documentation, detailed itineraries, and relevant travel information.
• Handle changes, cancellations, and disruptions with professionalism.
• Build and maintain client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with vendors and tour operators to secure the best deals and packages.
• Promote travel packages, loyalty programs, and special promotions.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a travel consultant, agent, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Customer‑service orientation with problem‑solving skills.
• Degree in Travel, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo.
• Experience using booking tools and travel management software.
