Transportation Representative – Freight Operations

About the role

The Transportation Representative works in Amazon's Transportation Operation Center (TOC) to ensure smooth inbound and outbound freight flow between vendors, carriers, fulfillment centers and customers. The role involves real‑time problem solving, data analysis, and communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers, vendors, fulfillment centers and internal teams to resolve freight exceptions.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely pick‑up, delivery and appointment compliance.
• Research issues using internal tools and make real‑time decisions to keep operations on track.
• Extract and analyze data from various databases to produce ad‑hoc reports.
• Develop and track performance metrics that drive business results.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive their implementation.
