Transportation Coordinator – Jaipur

About the role

Prockured is seeking a responsible and well‑organised Transportation Coordinator to oversee dispatches, deliveries and overall transportation activities from its Jaipur office. The role involves close collaboration with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors and customers to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Arrange appropriate vehicles based on shipment size, weight and destination.
• Track dispatches and provide regular delivery status updates.
• Manage transport bookings, vehicle details, freight rates and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate transportation rates and commercial terms with logistics partners.
• Update dispatch and delivery information in Prockured’s custom order‑management software.
• Prepare and maintain e‑way bills, delivery challans, invoices and other transport documents.
• Verify proof of delivery and keep accurate transportation records.
• Resolve delays, vehicle issues, damaged shipments and other delivery‑related concerns.
• Collaborate with purchase, operations, accounts and sales teams.
• Maintain transporter databases and compare freight quotations.

Required profile

• Strong communication, coordination and negotiation abilities.
• Basic understanding of transportation and logistics processes.
• Ability to manage multiple dispatches and delivery schedules simultaneously.
• Good record‑management and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn order‑management and logistics software.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
