Training Specialist – Last Mile

About the role

Amazon's Last Mile Learning team is looking for a Training Specialist to design, deliver and monitor training programs that boost employee competencies across AMZL and EDSP stations. The role is on‑site, involves regular travel to stations, and directly supports operational performance through targeted learning interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify knowledge gaps and develop training solutions aligned with business goals.
• Proactively recommend and implement training interventions for mapped stations.
• Track station performance metrics and schedule pre‑emptive training sessions.
• Deliver classroom, digital and on‑the‑job learning sessions, including new‑process and BQM training.
• Maintain and analyse performance data using Excel reports.
• Ensure timely completion of new‑hire onboarding, coaching and performance‑improvement programs.
• Partner with operations leaders to audit processes and close compliance gaps.
• Identify, certify and support learning coaches; lead improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑driven, proactive and comfortable with frequent travel.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with broader team objectives.

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• PowerPoint for creating training materials.
• Experience with AI‑based content creation tools.
• Proficiency in digital learning platforms and virtual classroom tools.
• Effective email writing for stakeholder communication.
