Training Manager – Hospitality & Wellness

About the role

As the Training Manager for Six Senses Fort Barwara, you will champion the brand’s vision of reconnecting guests with themselves, others and the world. You will safeguard the resort’s pillars of sustainability, wellness and unique experiences while leading the training and development function.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and continuously improve training programmes that align with the resort’s strategic goals.
• Identify training needs through job analysis, performance reviews and collaboration with department heads.
• Deliver training using a variety of methods including classroom sessions, on‑the‑job coaching, workshops and demonstrations.
• Prepare training materials such as manuals, multimedia aids and assessment tools.
• Maintain accurate training records and coordinate programmes for local and overseas hotel school trainees.
• Partner with the corporate office to ensure training initiatives meet the expectations of line managers, accountants and senior leaders.
• Lead orientation and onboarding sessions for new hires and promote a cost‑focused training philosophy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training and development within the hospitality or wellness sector.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and business impact.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage staff at all levels.
• Ability to align training initiatives with broader business objectives.

Required skills

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and various training delivery methods.
• Experience creating training manuals, visual aids and evaluation tools.
• Proficiency in organising and managing training schedules and records.
