Training Manager – Automotive Service

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Training Manager to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs for our automotive service operations. The role will enhance the capabilities of service advisors, technicians and workshop teams to meet OEM standards and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis for service teams and develop annual training plans aligned with business goals and after‑sales KPIs.
• Design and deliver training covering automotive technical knowledge, service processes, workshop operations, and customer communication.
• Collaborate with OEMs and external providers to ensure compliance with brand standards and manage onboarding, certification and up‑skilling programs.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, assessments and feedback, and produce regular performance reports for senior management.
• Manage internal trainers and subject‑matter experts, partner with Aftersales, Service Managers and HR, and support leadership development.
• Implement and maintain a Learning Management System, standardise training materials and ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in service/after‑sales.
• At least 2–3 years in a training or L&D leadership role.
• Experience working with OEM standards (e.g., Toyota, Ford, Hyundai) and certified as a trainer (Train‑the‑Trainer or equivalent).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Learning Management System (LMS) implementation and administration.
