Training Delivery – Ports & Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced trainer to deliver comprehensive training programs for port operations, cargo handling, warehousing and logistics processes. The role focuses on safety, compliance and hands‑on equipment instruction to ensure a skilled and compliant workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on port operations, cargo handling, warehousing and logistics.
• Deliver safety and compliance training covering hazardous materials, emergency response and environmental standards.
• Provide hands‑on instruction for equipment such as cranes, forklifts and reach stackers.
• Design and update training modules to reflect technological changes, regulatory updates and best practices.
• Ensure training aligns with IMO, ISPS Code and ILO regulations and supports certification programs.
• Assess trainee performance through tests, simulations and practical evaluations, and report results to management.
• Collaborate with HR, operations managers, external providers and maritime academies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a trainer in ports, shipping or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, equipment handling and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and instructional abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience using simulation‑based training tools.
• Hands‑on expertise with port equipment (cranes, forklifts, reach stackers).
