Track Alignment Engineer – Design Center (Bangalore)

About the role

DB Engineering & Consulting is seeking a Track Alignment Designer for its Bangalore project. The role requires at least five years of experience in railway track alignment design and involves delivering high‑quality alignment solutions across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform design reviews of track alignment throughout project phases.
• Prepare and review take‑off quantities and cooperate with other departments to meet client requirements.
• Develop alignments to fit given corridors, create corridors and cross‑sections, and address construction, interface and maintenance issues.
• Produce and verify track alignment designs, grading models, DTM surfaces, and related details.
• Work with LIDAR point clouds, manage surveys and ground‑surface data, and develop alignment profiles and grading.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in track alignment design on Indian and international rail projects.
• Experience with urban and greenfield conditions and knowledge of railway corridor types, gauges, rails, sleepers and other track components.
• Familiarity with applicable industry code standards and the ability to document engineering works from concept to advanced design.
