Time, Absence & Payroll IT Solution Analyst

About the role

The Time, Absence & Payroll IT Solution Analyst will support the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise workforce management and payroll solutions, partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for Time Tracking, Absence Management, Scheduling, and Payroll modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into system configuration, workflows, and functional designs.
• Lead or support configuration activities, including rules setup, accrual calculations, scheduling logic, time entry rules, validation rules, and payroll‑related parameters.
• Support reporting and analytics development related to labor, time, absence, workforce schedules, and payroll calculations.
• Participate in project phases including plan, design, build, testing, and deployment, and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on experience with Time Tracking and/or Absence Management in an analyst, configurator, or technical lead role.
• Minimum two full‑lifecycle implementations of Time and/or Absence (design → go‑live).
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Workday API/web services.
• Workday configuration, business process, security, integrations, and reporting.
• Experience with PMM (waterfall) or similar structured project methodologies.
