Tier 2 Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

About the role

Join Teladoc Health’s Security Operations Center as a Tier 2 Cybersecurity Operations Analyst. You will lead advanced investigations of escalated security incidents, apply mitigation strategies, and support the protection of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate escalated incidents such as malware infections, APTs, phishing campaigns, and unauthorized access.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery actions.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using SIEM, EDR/XDR, and other detection platforms.
• Analyze Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and TTPs to identify emerging threats.
• Configure and fine‑tune SIEM and SOAR tools, develop rules, dashboards, and alerts.
• Document incident timelines, findings, and remediation steps in ticketing systems.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and post‑incident reviews for management and compliance.
• Mentor Tier 1 analysts and collaborate with senior analysts, threat intelligence teams, and IT departments.
• Integrate threat intelligence feeds and stay updated on industry‑specific vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, preferably within a SOC environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on complex threat mitigation.
