About the role

The Nursing Technician will provide direct patient care in a multidisciplinary environment, following established protocols and guidelines. This position requires accurate documentation, assistance to nurses, and active participation in maintaining a safe and hygienic unit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient assistance according to clinical protocols and team directives.
• Perform nursing procedures as prescribed and in line with internal standards.
• Record patient information precisely in both physical and electronic medical records.
• Support nurses with admission, discharge, and patient transfer processes.
• Organize and replenish materials and equipment within the unit.
• Contribute to infection prevention measures and overall patient safety.
• Maintain empathy, ethical conduct, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Required profile

• Completed training as a Nursing Technician with an active COREN registration.
• Availability for onsite work on a 12 × 36 hour schedule.
• Previous experience in hospitals, clinics, or similar healthcare settings.
• Experience in inpatient units, emergency care, or intensive care.
• Basic knowledge of nursing routines and biosafety protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Willingness to be assigned to any unit within the organization.
