Technology Quality Technician

About the role

The Technology Quality Technician ensures that all components, sub‑assemblies and equipment meet defined specifications through systematic inspection, testing and documentation. This role blends hands‑on technical work with an understanding of the broader Quality Management System and its impact on equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect parts, components, materials and equipment against specifications using calibrated measurement systems.
• Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in line with approved procedures and standard work.
• Assist in designing test fixtures, setting them up, and ensuring safe execution of all inspection activities.
• Participate in creating and reviewing Hazard Analyses and Risk Controls for test operations.
• When authorized, calibrate measurement instruments and verify their repeatability and reproducibility.
• Document inspection and test results, confirming result stability over time where feasible.
• Apply Manufacturing System principles to drive continuous improvement of inspection and test processes.

Required profile

• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and the consequences of non‑conformances.
• Ability to follow detailed inspection procedures and standard work safely.
• Experience with hazard analysis and risk control in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
