Technical Project Manager (Agile Technical Manager)

About the role

The Agile Technical Manager leads the planning, coordination, and governance of customer implementations across multiple locations in India. Working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, DevOps, and product teams, the role ensures successful delivery of complex insurance software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Establish sprint cadence, plan activities, and enforce delivery governance.
• Coordinate delivery across Business, Product, Architecture, Configuration, QA, DevOps, and Support teams.
• Manage customer‑specific configuration workstreams such as Rules Configuration (FEEL), n8n, workflow, form.io, integration, user access, document, and data migration.
• Provide regular delivery updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to resolve blockers promptly.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and go‑live readiness.
• Ensure adherence to governance standards and best‑practice implementation.
• Drive transition to support and hyper‑care activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field.
• 12–14 years of experience in project management, technical program management, or software implementation delivery.
• Strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, preferably Commercial Lines and Specialty Insurance.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
