Technical Product Manager

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the development of new products and business processes that enhance agility in manufacturing and supply chain operations. The role will bridge business needs with technical solutions, working closely with software engineers to design scalable data pipelines and influence product strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on measurable business outcomes, aligning with supply chain and manufacturing objectives.
• Translate business goals into technical product requirements, collaborating with software engineers to build reliable data pipelines and systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, identify program risks early, and manage the product lifecycle from requirements through testing and pilot phases.
• Build consensus across cross-functional teams, communicate progress, and serve as the single point of contact for the product.

Required profile

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience developing software or business intelligence tools in an agile, user-centric environment.
• Strong understanding of operations, supply chain, or manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
