Technical Parts Sales Engineer – Bangalore

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Parts Sales Engineer to join our sales team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for driving sales of technical components, preparing quotations and supporting customers with technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quotes, proposals and pricing in line with company standards to meet sales targets.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues related to machinery parts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendors, follow up on leads, enquiries and quotations.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
• Understand customer needs, propose appropriate parts and coordinate with engineering for compatibility.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and customer feedback for management.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain and procurement to ensure parts availability and monitor inventory levels.
• Assist in demand forecasting for spare parts to optimise stock.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in technical parts sales or related field.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (BE‑Mech) or equivalent.
• Experience using SAP for sales and order processing.
• Familiarity with reading technical drawings and estimating manufacturing costs.
