Technical Account Manager Architect (Remote – India)

About the role

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) Architect joins ClickHouse's Support Services team to provide consultative support, escalation insight, and project guidance for strategic enterprise customers. This remote‑first position is based in India and involves up to 35% travel for onsite customer visits.

Key responsibilities

• Work with strategic and enterprise ClickHouse users on onboarding, production launches, and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Provide architectural, technical, and migration guidance, and lead escalations and L3 support cases.
• Coordinate projects, onboarding, documentation, and roadmap communication with product, engineering, and sales teams.
• Mentor new team members and contribute to knowledge‑base articles, reference architecture, and learning resources.
• Assist with hiring and help shape the team’s culture and processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years in Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Senior Support, or Project Management.
• 5+ years operating scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed database systems.
• Proven experience leading large‑scope technical projects with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills for customer‑facing and internal collaboration.
• Self‑driven, curious, and eager to continuously learn.

Required skills

• Distributed DBMS and OLAP technologies.
• Cloud/SaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure services (e.g., EC2).
• Linux/Unix administration.
• Kubernetes orchestration.
• System and network administration.
• Big data processing concepts.
