Teamcenter Solution Expert

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Teamcenter Solution Expert to lead functional PLM consulting and solution design for our engineering and manufacturing teams. The role focuses on business process consulting and functional architecture rather than technical development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the functional solution design and conceptualization of end‑to‑end PLM processes using Siemens Teamcenter.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define future‑state Teamcenter solutions.
• Drive requirements engineering activities including elicitation, documentation, prioritization, validation and end‑to‑end traceability.
• Define and optimise Teamcenter processes across Design BOM (EBOM), Part BOM, Manufacturing BOM (MBOM), Bill of Process (BOP), Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECR/ECO) and Requirements Management.
• Facilitate workshops, design‑thinking sessions and functional decision‑making meetings with business and IT stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution concepts, process flows, use cases and business process documentation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Teamcenter developers to ensure functional requirements are translated into scalable solutions.
• Support solution validation, fit‑gap analysis, testing and user‑acceptance activities, and provide guidance during implementation and rollout.
• Promote adoption of Teamcenter best practices while minimising unnecessary customisations.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development within the Teamcenter consulting practice.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter, primarily in functional consulting and solution design.
• Strong understanding of PLM processes and ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading workshops, stakeholder engagement and requirements engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across engineering and manufacturing organisations.
