Team Member - Inventory Management

About the role

The Team Member – Inventory Management will ensure accurate handling, tracking and storage of laboratory chemicals. Working closely with the inventory system and end‑users, the role supports both internal and external shipments while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physical receipt of chemicals against invoices.
• Segregate chemicals according to storage requirements, pack size and compatibility.
• Generate bar‑codes for lab chemicals and update the CIS with tray locations.
• Issue chemicals through the CIS inventory database upon receiving requisitions.
• Process returned chemicals, update the CIS, and relocate them to designated trays.
• Manage compounds: register in CDMS, weigh samples, submit for assay, and coordinate internal and external shipments.
• Calibrate weighing balances according to schedule.
• Respond to queries on chemical delivery status for end‑users and supply chain management.

Required profile

• M.Sc. with 2‑6 years of experience in inventory or material management, or M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 2 years laboratory experience.
• Strong understanding of chemical, reagent and reactant quality details.
• Familiarity with medicinal chemistry processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CIS (Chemical Inventory System).
• Experience using CDMS (Compound Data Management System).
• Bar‑code generation and labeling.
• Weighing balance calibration and maintenance.
