Team Member – Gold Loan Audit (Jorhat)

About the role

Aditya Birla Capital Limited is seeking a diligent Team Member to join its Gold Loan Audit function in Jorhat. The role focuses on executing audits of gold loan portfolios, identifying credit, regulatory, financial and operational risks, and recommending improvements to strengthen controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct gold loan audits across new and existing branches, products and channels.
• Provide independent assurance on risk management, compliance with policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control gaps, assess the complexity of deals, and propose systemic improvements.
• Support proactive remediation of credit risk and related regulatory, financial and operational issues.
• Prepare clear audit reports, communicate findings to stakeholders and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Experience in collection for mid‑market or corporate customers.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑ground for collection activities.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Familiarity with fraud detection and monitoring systems.
