Team Manager – Manufacturing (Conveyor Production)

About the role

Join Alfa Laval as a Team Manager – Manufacturing in Pune, responsible for on‑time conveyor manufacturing, delivering decanters to the highest quality standards, achieving zero accidents, meeting production targets and maintaining daily takt time while planning manpower.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily load and unload activities and maintain TAKT for three shifts in the conveyor cell.
• Drive the team toward defined objectives and production goals.
• Review, release and schedule manufacturing orders on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Conduct ALPS/DSB meetings, monitor daily performance, and communicate any component delays.
• Maintain PI, KPI parameters and oversee new tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Handle quality issues, accident and claim analysis, and ensure compliance with ISO audits, HSE and 5S standards.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 5‑7 years of welding and machining manufacturing experience.
• Strong process knowledge of welding and machining for conveyor production.
• Experience in resource planning, product knowledge and familiarity with QMS and HSE requirements.
• Proficiency with IT tools and good communication and presentation skills.
