Team Leader / Project Manager – Power Sector Projects

About the role

Lead, manage, and coordinate the multidisciplinary consultancy team deployed under the PMTC assignment. Act as the primary point of contact between the Directorate of Energy, GoHP, funding agencies, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project implementation strategies, work plans, monitoring mechanisms, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure achievement of project objectives within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide overall direction and guidance to technical experts, field engineers, and support staff.
• Promote resilient, climate‑adaptive, and disaster‑resistant engineering practices.
• Monitor compliance with national standards, codes, regulations, and project‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Post‑Graduation in Engineering, Management or an equivalent relevant degree.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in power‑sector project management.
• At least 5 years of experience in resilience‑related aspects of the power sector; experience in the Indian power sector is desirable.
