Team Leader – Lending Relationship Management (Chennai)

About the role

To sell products or services for a company and represent its brand, managing customer relationships from initial lead outreach through to purchase.

Key responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned rural area.
• Ensure visibility and accountability through sales of financial products.
• Recruit and align the field sales team (FSE) to drive business.
• Plan market size, span, and geographies for the sales team.
• Communicate targets and plans effectively to minimise delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales.
• Ensure team presence in markets with regular sales activity.
• Travel extensively across the assigned territory.
• Sell cross‑sell products such as Merchant Loan, Personal Loan, Gold SIP and upgrades.
• Maintain strong networking capabilities with merchants and partners.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (post‑graduation preferred).
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Quick learner who applies new concepts rapidly.
• Excellent networking and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the area.
• Good understanding of lending products.
