Team Leader – Digital IC Design

About the role

Aumovio is seeking an experienced leader to head its Digital IC Design team in Bengaluru. You will coordinate all Bangalore activities, ensure technical and commercial requirements are met, and drive the digital design development process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the digital design team, coordinating resources, processes, methods and tools.
• Define project plans, assign work‑packages, track progress, and report discrepancies to customers and management.
• Evaluate technical and development risks, implement mitigation plans, and conduct milestone reviews.
• Support acquisition of new digital projects and contribute to strategic planning, budget management and cross‑functional alignment.
• Apply configuration, change and quality‑assurance management, and continuously improve design methodologies and tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or VLSI design.
• 12+ years of experience in automotive digital IC design and verification, with proven leadership of design teams.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and communication skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• ASIC and FPGA design, VHDL, Verilog, UVM, SystemVerilog, SystemC.
• Experience with IP blocks such as SPI, I2C, HDMI, RSDS, OpenLDI, PSI5, Ethernet, CAN.
• Proficiency in IC design/synthesis tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens) and physical design flow.
• Office productivity tools (MS Office, Visio).
