Team Leader – Commercial Banking (Mid Corporates)

About the role

The Team Leader will drive growth for the Mid Corporate segment within Commercial Banking, aligning business objectives across assets, liabilities and revenue. This role combines strategic planning, client relationship management and team oversight to expand the portfolio and improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Mid Corporate business growth aligned with regional and zonal objectives across assets, liabilities, and revenue.
• Identify business opportunities within key markets and industry segments to expand the portfolio.
• Grow advances, current accounts, and deposits while improving portfolio profitability.
• Balance new‑to‑bank acquisition with existing‑to‑bank relationship deepening.
• Increase product penetration and cross‑sell opportunities across the customer base.
• Build strong client relationships to enhance wallet share and market presence.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, KYC, AML, and internal policy requirements.
• Drive process efficiency and timely onboarding of customers and credit proposals.
• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and data management.
• Own delivery of business targets across assets, liabilities, income, and fee income.
• Enhance wallet share across existing Mid Corporate relationships and acquire new customers.
• Monitor team productivity, portfolio performance, and maintain a healthy business pipeline.
• Track and report cluster‑level business targets, review portfolio growth and profitability.
• Conduct periodic business reviews with regional leaders and relationship managers.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers, promoters, and strategic accounts.
• Act as escalation point for critical customer issues and support relationship managers.
