Team Lead – GIS Mapping Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to oversee GIS Mapping operations and guide a team of mapping professionals. The role combines strong GIS domain expertise with people‑management responsibilities to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of GIS associates to meet operational and business targets.
• Allocate tasks based on project priorities, timelines, and business requirements.
• Monitor team productivity, quality, and SLA compliance, providing regular performance reports.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for GIS workflows, tools, and policies, handling escalations and policy queries.
• Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project requirements.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and governance compliance.

Required profile

• Graduate or higher with 2‑3 years of hands‑on GIS Mapping experience.
• 1.5‑2 years of experience in a Team Lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage work allocation, productivity tracking, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical aptitude.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
