Team Lead, Credentialing

About the role

The Credentialing Team Lead will head a production‑focused pod of Operations Analysts and Credentialing Specialists, owning day‑to‑day execution of credentialing operations for assigned clients. This high‑visibility role balances hands‑on operational ownership with people leadership and proactive problem‑solving to scale the pod effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Own core operational metrics for the pod, ensuring speed, quality and efficiency meet SLAs.
• Monitor turnaround times and quality metrics daily, driving corrective actions to maintain compliance.
• Identify process gaps, document SOPs and lead internal training to close them.
• Manage escalations and partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee credentialing expirables, workload balancing and capacity planning as volume grows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of US health‑tech credentialing experience, including at least 2 years of people management.
• Proven ability to lead a production‑driven team of 5+ analysts and specialists.
• Strong client engagement and stakeholder management experience.
• Metrics‑driven mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
