Team Lead - Client Coverage (Europe)

About the role

ANZ is establishing a new Coverage Support function within its Global Capability Centre to serve the Europe Corporate Coverage business. As the Team Lead, you will build and manage a team of analysts who provide high‑quality analytical, operational and client support to Relationship Managers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, coach and develop a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to support customer engagement, portfolio management and business development activities.
• Deliver market, industry and client research, turning data into actionable insights for the Europe franchise.
• Implement and maintain processes, controls and workload allocation to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
• Contribute to the design of a new operating model that improves efficiency and enables RMs to focus on origination.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in institutional banking or corporate coverage.
• Proven people‑leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering operational excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing, global environment and manage cross‑regional relationships.
