Teaching "Never At School" Children at our centres in Gurgaon

About the role
We are looking for compassionate educators to join our "Nukkad Pathshalas" in Gurgaon. You will bring basic numeracy and reading skills to children from migrant and construction‑worker families who cannot attend regular schools.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver age‑appropriate lessons in numeracy and literacy at community‑based centres.
- Identify children interested in formal schooling and facilitate their transition to mainstream schools.
- Provide free remedial tutoring for students in classes 6‑10 who are enrolled in government schools.
- Distribute school books and assist with enrollment for open‑school programs such as NIOS, college, and IGNOU courses.
Required profile
- Passion for education and community development.
- Experience working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to communicate clearly in Hindi and English.
