About the role

Himalayan National School is seeking qualified teachers to join its team in Usri, Danapur, Patna. The position involves delivering effective, engaging lessons across elementary, primary and secondary levels. Candidates will contribute to the overall academic and personal development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective, engaging, age‑appropriate lessons.
• Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain records of students' academic performance and progress.
• Conduct class tests, periodic assessments, and examinations.
• Identify students needing additional support and provide guidance.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding academic progress and behaviour.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred/required).
• Strong command of English communication, both written and spoken.
• Good subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
• Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).

What we offer

• Elementary Teacher salary: 8,000 – 14,000 INR per month
• Primary Teacher salary: 10,000 – 15,000 INR per month
• Secondary Teacher salary: 12,000 – 20,000 INR per month
