Tax Specialist – India & ANZ

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is looking for a Tax Specialist to support its Food Ingredients business across India and the ANZ region. Based in Hyderabad with a hybrid work model, you will join a solution‑oriented team that drives sustainable innovation and ensures tax compliance worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for India and ANZ, including data collection, review of tax returns and coordination with external advisors.
• Manage the tax provision process for all assigned jurisdictions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tax advisors and local tax authorities during audits and other tax matters.
• Provide tax advisory support to the business, communicating legislative changes and their impact.
• Identify tax efficiencies, planning opportunities and support their implementation.
• Assist the transfer pricing team with policy monitoring, process implementation and compliance.
• Contribute to global tax planning initiatives, M&A projects and internal control improvements.
• Identify tax risks and ensure adherence to IFF’s governance and risk‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• B.Com, Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification with 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an accounting firm or multinational organization, including tax audit management.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work across countries and functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
• Proactive, adaptable and results‑oriented mindset.
