Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead the company’s direct tax function, ensuring compliance, optimal tax planning and effective handling of assessments and litigation. This senior position works onsite in Domlur, Bangalore, and partners closely with finance, legal and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate income tax returns, advance tax, TDS/TCS and tax provisions under Ind AS/IFRS.
• Manage individual taxation matters including salary, expatriate and high‑net‑worth client filings.
• Design tax‑efficient structures for mergers, acquisitions, dividends and international transactions.
• Represent the company before tax authorities, handle notices, assessments, appeals and tax searches.
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and APA support for multinational operations.
• Ensure compliance with DTAA, BEPS, OECD guidelines and permanent establishment issues.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification.
• 10‑15 years of experience in direct tax, corporate and individual taxation.
• Proven leadership in finance functions and experience in multi‑location businesses such as manufacturing or plantations.
• Strong knowledge of the Income‑Tax Act, Finance Acts, CBDT circulars and tax treaties.
