About the role
We are looking for a Tax Form Annotation Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis, labeling tax documents to create high‑quality training data for machine‑learning models.
Key responsibilities
- Study tax form layouts (e.g., W‑2, 1040, 1099) and define annotation scope and rules.
- Create labels and draw bounding boxes for fields using Label Studio.
- Identify interrelated fields and configure relationship tags.
- Generate JSON and YAML annotation exports and verify schema integrity.
Required profile
- Solid understanding of common US tax form structures.
- Hands‑on experience with Label Studio or similar annotation platforms.
- Proficiency in drawing bounding boxes and applying label schemas.
- Ability to define field‑level metadata accurately.

What we offer
- Contract work at $7 per hour.
