Tax Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Tax Consultant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting audit activities while staying current with regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and oversee month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Handle GST, TDS, and income‑tax filings, ensuring timely submission of all statutory returns.
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash‑flow reports.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, providing required documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards (Ind‑AS/IFRS) and implement necessary adjustments.
• Identify gaps in accounting processes and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Education: B.Com, M.Com, CA, ICWA or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–5 years in accounting and taxation.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, corporate tax and accounting standards.
• Soft skills: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication and problem‑solving.
