Tax & Compliance Executive

About the role

Faym is building India's creator commerce infrastructure and needs a Tax & Compliance Executive to support its finance function. Working closely with the Finance Head, you will own end‑to‑end GST, TDS and income‑tax compliance, ensuring timely filings and audit readiness in a fast‑growing startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full cycle tax compliance for GST, TDS, advance tax and annual income‑tax returns, guaranteeing accurate and on‑time submissions.
• Perform tax reconciliations, reviewing GST classifications, HSN/SAC codes, ITC eligibility and TDS deductions against financial records.
• Maintain tax documentation, support statutory audits, respond to notices and ensure zero compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on contracts, invoices, payroll and vendor transactions to provide tax‑efficient guidance.
• Monitor regulatory updates, propose process improvements, risk mitigation and tax optimisation opportunities.
• Enhance tax reporting and compliance tracking together with the Finance Head.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience in GST, TDS and income‑tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations, HSN/SAC classifications, ITC rules and TDS provisions.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proactive ownership mindset and clear communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a high‑growth startup environment.
