Tax Compliance Coordinator (Remote – Goa)

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Compliance Coordinator to support our U.S. tax team. The role is remote‑based in Goa and focuses on accurate data collection, organization, and entry for sales and use tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, organize and maintain transaction data for U.S. sales and use tax compliance.
• Extract financial data from source systems using established reports.
• Enter, review and maintain tax data in Vertex and related systems.
• Assist in preparing recurring tax return workpapers and filing support packages.
• Prepare reconciliations, roll‑forwards and schedules for tax filings.
• Maintain tax calendars, filing trackers, jurisdiction lists and status logs.
• Track exemption certificates and gather documentation for internal stakeholders, auditors or tax authorities.
• Support data cleanup, documentation maintenance and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in sales and use tax, indirect tax compliance or related accounting support.
• Experience preparing U.S. sales and use tax returns.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Effective communication with U.S.-based tax team members and external advisors.

Required skills

• Vertex tax compliance system.
• Oracle EBS (preferred).
• Advanced Excel (formulas, lookups, filtering, large data sets).
