Tax Associate

About the role

As a Tax Associate within Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, you will support the determination of financial outcomes by collecting operational data, performing analysis, and reconciling transactions. The role focuses on statutory reporting and tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of complex tax returns and the creation of monthly and quarterly tax calculations and workpapers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate, federal, state, and international tax returns.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax calculations and supporting workpapers.
• Record, report, and reconcile tax transactions and effective tax rates.
• Design and improve tax processes, leveraging tools such as OneSource.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
• Support night‑shift operations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Commerce (BCom/MCom).
• CA, CPA or CA Inter qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in statutory reporting, tax compliance, or corporate tax.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving attitude, and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• OneSource tax software.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred).
• Anaplan (preferred).
• MS Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of RTR tools and RPA concepts.
• Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
