Tax Analyst – Statutory Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Tax Analyst will join Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, supporting statutory reporting and tax compliance for multiple legal entities. The role involves preparing and filing complex tax returns, calculating tax provisions, and reconciling effective tax rates.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state and international tax returns.
• Perform monthly/quarterly tax calculations and develop workpapers.
• Record tax transactions and reconcile effective tax rate.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Liaise with Business Units, Legal, Treasury, HR and Payroll to gather audit information.
• Support tax process design and maintain OneSource data.
• Conduct XBRL tagging and update tax notes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 1–5 years of experience in statutory audit, reporting and tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions.
