Tax Analyst

About the role

The Tax Analyst will support Pinnacle Group’s global tax compliance and reporting across non‑US jurisdictions, including India, Canada, and the UK. This role partners with finance, accounting, legal, and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review direct tax calculations, filings, workpapers, and supporting documentation for non‑US jurisdictions.
• Gather, validate, and analyze financial data from internal systems and business stakeholders for tax compliance.
• Assist with tax provision, reporting, reconciliations, and documentation for internal and external obligations.
• Research tax regulations and assess implications for business operations and reporting.
• Maintain organized tax records, schedules, and audit support documentation.
• Support process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency of tax compliance activities.
• Assist with indirect tax, sales and use tax, US federal tax, and SALT matters as needed.

Required profile

• CA or CPA designation.
• Strong experience with non‑US taxation, particularly in India, Canada, or the UK.
• Demonstrated knowledge of direct tax compliance, reporting, documentation, and analysis.
• Experience preparing or reviewing tax workpapers, reconciliations, filings, or provision‑related schedules.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret tax regulations and apply them to practical business scenarios.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across finance, accounting, and advisory teams.
