Tax Accountant – Australian Taxation (Ahmedabad)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Accountant with at least two years of experience in Australian taxation to join our Ahmedabad office. The role involves delivering tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base, ensuring accurate filings and proactive tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Manage tax compliance and advisory services for SMEs and larger corporations.
• Assist clients with tax planning, including Division 7A, FBT, CGT and related Australian tax legislation.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and tax lodgements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve tax queries and maintain compliance.
• Stay updated on changes to Australian tax laws and communicate implications to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian tax accounting or related services.
• Strong understanding of Australian tax laws such as Division 7A, FBT and CGT.
• Detail‑oriented with high accuracy in tax preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with cultural sensitivity.
• Professional attitude, integrity and a collaborative mindset.
