Talent Development Specialist

About the role

The Talent Development Specialist will support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of talent, leadership and organisational development initiatives for BASF’s new Global Hub in India. Working closely with HR and business stakeholders, you will help advance capability, employee experience and business performance through targeted programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, development and execution of talent development programmes aligned to organisational priorities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, handling planning, coordination, communication and outcome tracking.
• Collaborate with HR, business leaders and cross‑functional partners to assess needs and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop and refine programme content, communications and materials for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Conduct research, benchmarking and analysis to identify best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Support change‑management and communication strategies to increase awareness and adoption.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of programmes.
• Monitor programme effectiveness, track key metrics and provide insights for improvement.
• Assist with operational activities such as budgeting, vendor coordination and process management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, Psychology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in talent development, HR or related areas.
• Experience supporting learning & development, leadership development, culture or talent management programmes.
