Talent Acquisition Lead, India

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Lead, India will translate the global TA strategy into disciplined local execution, partnering with business leaders to deliver high‑quality hiring and a consistent candidate experience across India.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional, sector and bid leaders to develop sourcing strategies, talent maps and bid‑ready candidate pipelines.
• Lead delivery of approved recruitment demand and bid‑related talent needs, ensuring speed, quality and clear prioritisation.
• Own compliance and governance across the recruitment lifecycle, including Workday data accuracy, approvals, candidate consent and data‑privacy requirements.
• Drive process consistency by removing bottlenecks, educating hiring managers and escalating blockers early.
• Adopt AI‑enabled sourcing and productivity tools responsibly to improve market mapping, outreach, screening support and reporting while maintaining human judgement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in talent acquisition leadership within a large, matrixed organisation.
• Strong governance discipline and ability to challenge unclear demand or unsupported approvals.
• Proven stakeholder management skills with regional and sector leaders.
• Experience managing recruitment for both live roles and bid‑related demand.

Required skills

• Workday recruitment module proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled sourcing and productivity tools.
• Talent mapping and market intelligence capabilities.
• Knowledge of compliance, data‑privacy and verification processes in recruitment.
