About the role

IBM Finance & Operations is seeking a Tactical Buyer to support the global sourcing strategy. The role combines commodity sourcing, data analysis and supplier management to ensure cost‑effective and high‑quality supply for the business.

Key responsibilities

Source commodity demand in line with the global sourcing strategy, identifying optimal suppliers.
Analyze data and benchmarking insights to inform sourcing decisions.
Establish and maintain supplier relationships, negotiating contracts that meet business needs.
Document the sourcing process in a structured, auditable manner.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with commodity sourcing, including demand assessment and supplier identification.
Exposure to data analysis and benchmarking techniques.
Understanding of industry market trends and supplier dynamics.
Familiarity with sourcing process management and compliance documentation.
Experience in contract negotiation and strategy development.
