Systems/Tech Analyst – Post Trade Operations

About the role

As a Systems/Tech Analyst in Post Trade Operations – Institutional Markets Technology, you will help ANZ deliver reliable, compliant financial services by building resilient technology platforms that support the full trading lifecycle. You will work closely with product owners, engineers and operations teams to turn business needs into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners and Operations stakeholders to refine and prioritise requirements for confirmations, matching, reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers and platform SMEs (Xceptor, TRAM, SmartDX/Thunderhead) to translate business scenarios into clear user stories and functional designs.
• Develop a deep understanding of end‑to‑end post‑trade lifecycle flows and ensure consistency across upstream and downstream systems.
• Produce high‑quality analysis, documentation and traceability, making requirements testable, auditable and aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Support sprint planning, estimation and delivery validation through effective testing and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Experience working in post‑trade operations or related financial technology environments.
• Ability to manage dependencies, translate features into actionable user stories and validate outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail for regulatory and control requirements.
