Systems Engineer

About the role

The Systems Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and support of DATAMARK's IT infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of servers, cloud services, networks, and core applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, configuration, and operation of the IT environment.
• Install, maintain, test, and upgrade servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and networking equipment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best‑practice procedures for systems, security, and backups.
• Monitor systems and networks, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective solutions.
• Manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, SAN/NAS, firewalls, routers, switches, IP phones, and software deployments.
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity, WAN, VPN, and remote‑access issues.
• Liaise with vendors and keep stakeholders informed of changes.
• Ensure integrity of file servers, VPN gateways, EDR, and intrusion detection/protection systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT systems experience, including at least 3 years as a Systems Engineer.
• Strong background in networking, application‑level operations, and system administration.
• Experience with PCI, SOC and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
