Systems Engineer 1

About the role

The Systems Engineer will design, implement, validate and commission drive systems across multiple industrial domains. You will act as the technical bridge between customers, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring high‑quality, reliable solutions that meet both commercial and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, validate and commission DC and AC drive systems for diverse applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical interface to customers and suppliers, supporting sales and tendering activities.
• Validate control systems using HIL and SIL testing modes.
• Design, standardize, validate and commission AVR and exciter controls for large machines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, project, commissioning, service) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage engineering change requests and maintain contract design documentation.
• Improve engineering efficiency through reusable standard solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Control Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with DC drives, low‑voltage AC drives, MV VSI or CSI drive control systems.
• Experience in power‑electronics sizing, component selection and vendor coordination.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on AVR system control design and validation.
