About the role

Join Prime Video Global Operations to build and operate a mission‑critical Work Management Platform that powers hundreds of daily workflows for content publishing, quality assurance, and model training. As a Systems Development Engineer II you will own platform modules, drive architectural improvements, and deliver high‑impact features that scale with growing operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate modules and features of the Work Management Platform.
• Lead technical design for medium‑to‑large feature initiatives, balancing complexity, scalability, and delivery speed.
• Build data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and integrations using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Create automation, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure reliability and early issue detection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Reduce operational toil through tooling, infrastructure automation, and self‑service capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers and operations leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Strong Systems Development Engineer with experience in end‑to‑end platform ownership.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, reliable cloud‑native services.
• Hands‑on experience with agile development processes.
